Job purpose

 

The role is a general all around office assistant. We are looking for someone willing to learn all aspects of the company and willing to jump in on every need.

 

Position accountabilities

 

Customer care on our products:
  • Assist with customer support via email
  • Assist with customer complaints lodged against other users
  • Ad hoc assistance with photo moderation
  • Fielding user/customer feedback from app stores etc.

 

Office management, including:
  • Assist with day-to-day management of the office facilities and stationery, phones, office equipment, kitchen, refreshments etc to ensure smooth running of operations
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, researching and booking conferences and events for staff
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail

 

Billing & Finance:
  • Monitoring credit card chargeback’s, billing anomalies and registration anomalies
  • Accounts Receivable – chasing up payments from clients (credit control)
  • Purchase order processing
  • Entering invoices into Sage

 

Possible ad hoc assistance with marketing, including:
  • Assisting with promotions and marketing on the Facebook page and other social media sites e.g. Foursquare and Twitter
  • Helping to provide weekly plans and effectiveness reports to department Head
  • Working with marketing to help evaluate and manage existing social media strategies and optimizing the creation and execution of all social media marketing campaigns

 

 

Person Specification

 

Education/qualifications:
  • Degree level qualification

 

Knowledge/skills/experience/requirements:
  • Solid IT skills
  • Excellent written communication skills with creative flair
  • Experience of social media marketing incl blogging, forums marketing, PR and articles
  • Understanding of the power of feed marketing
  • Demonstrable immersion in social media
  • Ability to map out and drive a marketing strategy to results
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisation skills
