Handmade Mobile has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to social networks. We were leaders in cracking the code in converting social connections to revenue generating opportunities. We were ahead of the crowd when it came to developing solutions for billing and virtual goods. And we were the first company to deploy our applications across multiple platforms and channels including WAP, Mobile, Web, Carriers, iPhone, Droid, pads, tablets and internet television. But more than innovation, Handmade stands for exactly what our name says.
In a world where everything seems to be machine stamped or spit out from conveyor belts, we build products with our own hands and from the ground up. Not because it’s faster or cheaper than alternatives, but because we believe it reflects the spirit of who we are as a team. We are creative individuals committed to bringing people together in a safe environment where you can have fun while making genuine connections. Many have proclaimed that the world is a cold and lonely place. While that may at times ring true, we at Handmade believe it’s our job to be the change we want to see in the world. In fact, it’s not just our job it’s our mission.
Sure, scalable solutions, distribution and revenue are the metrics our investors understand, but we insist the only way to achieve success by those measures is to make sure they are mere byproducts of our labors of love. If we are to succeed in our lofty ambitions, we will need your help. Not just as users of our services, but as the architects helping to shape and define them.
We have been busy re-designing our apps on iPhone and Droid with the web site and mobile web versions to change soon. We’re really happy with the changes so far but want to know what you think.
